Stop Motion and 2D Animation Projects

Adapted Story

This is an excerpt from a short story I wrote; This was proof of animation concept for a school project, using 11x8.5 copy paper and charcoal. I drew approximately 36 full size images and used an overhead camera to shoot each drawing. Throw them all together and they move! Traditional animation is one of my favorites. This 3 second loop took approximately 8 hours to create.

Future Proof

Future Proof is a motion design convention held every year at Ringling College of Art and Design. Every motion design student competes to make the best intro for the convention. The intro introduces the Department of Motion Design, as well as some key speakers. 

Music Excerpt

I love rock and roll! This is an abstract excerpt from Hearts "Crazy on You" showcasing 2d animation in Adobe's After Effects. The real trick here was syncing the audio with the animation. 

Name Game

This project uses digital frame by frame animation; The goal was to animate my name and use a square format for social media; Fun fact. I was named after a Beretta handgun!
